“Ahentrikas Chapel”

The chapel of “Ahentrikas” was built near the coastal area of “Koutsopetri”. The naming “Ahentrikas” is related to Apostle Andreas.

According to information provided by the Community Council, the chapel was constructed during the Byzantine period, between the years 850-1000, but unfortunately it was completely destroyed and therefore the area lost its most ancient monument. What is more, it is believed that its masonry was used for the construction of the church of Panagia.
